Our Vedic and Paurohitya Education Program

The academic year at Veda Rakshana Samithi runs from April to March,

dedicated to preserving the ancient wisdom of the Vedas and training Purohitas for society’s spiritual needs.

Our Programs

Children aged 8–12 who have undergone Upanayana, admitted to their sva-sakha are eligible

Krishna Yajurveda (Taittiriya-sakha)

Master the sacred chants and scriptures of Krishna Yajurveda’s Taittiriya-sakha through traditional methods. Includes general education in Sanskrit, English, and Mathematics, with opportunities for advanced study up to Ghana level.

Duration: 7 years

Syllabus: Prescribed by MSRVVP, Ujjain

Certification:

Veda Bhushana @ end of 5 years (Class 10 Equivalent) and

Veda Vibhushana @ end of 7 years (Class 12 Equivalent)

Samaveda (Kauthuma-sakha)

Learn the musical chants of Samaveda’s Kauthuma-sakha under expert Acharyas. Includes foundational education in Sanskrit, English, and Mathematics.

Duration: 7 years

Syllabus: Prescribed by MSRVVP, Ujjain

Certification:

Moolanta in 4 years and

Chandogyanta in 7 years

Paurohitya Training

A comprehensive curriculum designed to train Gurus in purva and apara prayogas, addressing the shortage of qualified Purohitas. Taught by accomplished Vedapathins, this program prepares students for Vaideeka Vruthi.
