Recap: Road Safety Awareness Session

Be Aware. Be Responsible. Stay Safe.

11th October, 2026,

Venue : Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Shankaracharya Veda Pathashala, Palakkad ,

Led by Veteran safety trainer Mr. M. Kamalakkannan.

The session was delivered by seasoned safety expert Mr. M. Kamalakkannan, who brought decades of field discipline and over 500 safety masterclasses into an engaging, practical discussion. Through real-life scenarios and actionable advice, attendees revisited vital defensive driving practices,

  • Protective Gear Isn’t Optional: Always fasten seatbelts and wear certified, properly strapped helmets—even on the shortest neighborhood trips.
  • Zero Distractions Behind the Wheel:
Mobile phones, multitasking, and wandering focus remain top causes of avoidable collisions. A split second of distraction can alter a lifetime.

  • Respect Speed Limits & Right of Way:
Speed limits exist to cushion unpredictable hazards. Patience and lane etiquette protect pedestrians, cyclists, and senior citizens sharing the road.
  • The "Safety First" Mindset:
Safe roads are built when every individual recognizes that driving is a shared social responsibility, not just an individual commute.
